5 questionsHow long does it really take?
About a minute. You pick your name, answer a few short questions, and your page is live. You can keep improving it afterwards.
Do I need a laptop?
No. The whole thing works on your phone.
Do I need to know how to build a website?
No. You answer questions in plain language and the page writes itself. You can edit anything you don’t like.
Can I change my web address later?
No — and that’s deliberate. Your address is permanent so the links you share, the QR codes you print, and the cards you hand out never stop working. Choose carefully at signup.
What if the name I want is taken?
Try it under one of the other addresses, or adjust it slightly. We’ll show you what’s free as you type.

4 questionsDo I have to sell something?
No. Plenty of people use PagePax just to have a page and a link worth sharing. Selling is optional and you can switch it on whenever.
Can I use my own domain name?
Not at launch. It’s on the roadmap.
Will it work on a cheap phone or slow data?
Yes. That’s what it was built for.
Can I change how it looks?
Yes — colours, fonts and your logo on Pro. Free gets a clean preset.
Payments & money
6 questionsHow do I get paid?
Payments run through Paystack. Your share settles directly into your own bank account.
Does PagePax hold my money?
No. Never. The money goes from your customer to Paystack to your bank. It doesn’t pass through us.
How soon do I get the money?
Settlement timing is set by Paystack — usually the next working day. [ANSWER TBC — confirm and state precisely]
What does it cost per sale?
Your subscription only. PagePax takes no fee from your sales. Paystack charges its own processing fee separately.
Can I take a payment without setting up a store?
Yes. Make a payment link for any amount, send it in WhatsApp, and you’re paid. No catalog needed.
What about refunds to my customer?
You handle refunds with your customer directly. We’re not part of the sale.
Verification & trust
5 questionsWhy do you need my BVN?
Because you’re collecting money. It confirms you’re a real, identifiable person and that the bank account the money goes to is actually yours. Every platform that lets you collect payments in Nigeria asks for this.
Do you store my BVN?
No. It goes to a licensed verification provider for checking, and we keep only the result — passed or not — and the date.
What does the Verified badge actually mean?
That we checked this person’s identity and matched it to their bank account. It does not mean we’ve reviewed their products, their prices, or their service. Read more on the badge page.
What if my BVN name doesn’t match my bank account?
It goes to a person to review, and we may ask for another document. Payments stay off until it’s sorted.
What can’t I sell on PagePax?
Anything illegal, counterfeit, stolen, or built to deceive people. The full list is in the Acceptable Use Policy.
Plans & billing
4 questionsIs Free actually free?
Yes, and it stays free. No card, no countdown.
What happens when my trial ends?
If you don’t upgrade, you drop back to Free. Your page stays live, your data stays put, nothing is deleted. Subscribe later and everything comes back as it was.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time.
Do I get a refund if I cancel mid-month?

WhatsApp is usually fastest. If it’s about someone else’s page, use the report route instead — it goes to a different team.
The rest makes more sense once your page exists.
